Posted By: Ann Mack on August 20, 2022 EL ROI (Pronounced EL Raw-EE) THE GOD OF SIGHT, THE GOD WHO SEES AND KNOWS EVERYTHING! “It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him. ~Daniel 2:22, Amplified July 22, 2022 Finalized August 15, 2022 HOPE keeps me going and FAITH pushes me forward! It is IMPORTANT for me to BELIEVE and to forever remember that there is a God; a higher being that REIGNS SUPREME above ALL of the shenanigans in the world. A person who is above negative influence and cannot be bought, persuaded, or manipulated for all the gold, silver, and fine china in the world! A person who is TRUE to HIS WORD, values integrity and morality to always choose and consider right from wrong; PRINCIPLED, FAIR, AND JUST in all HIS ways! HE never changes; HE is the same yesterday, today, and forever! HE wants nothing other than the best for us ALL! It is HIS desire that we all choose the right path, partner with HIM, and stand strong to endure till the end - without wavering! Working in human resources for half my life has afforded me the opportunity to see firsthand just how easy it is for people to be placed in a position of POWER and use their authority negatively to violate and manipulate laws and people simply because they can while attempting to control the destiny of others - unjustly! And they seem to do it with so much ease without batting an eye and thoughtlessness; void of consciousness while making up their own rules as they go along and being granted DISCRETION to do so; literally! This word, discretion, is actually being included in many of the policies, rules, regulations, and laws as an acceptable [and encouraging] course of action to take. It empowers the person in the decision-making authoritative seat, with the legal right to act in accordance with his/her will and not be held responsible or accountable for any of their immoral ACTIONS even if and when they themselves break laws. This can best be described as DOUBLE STANDARDS! We are seeing this currently being played out all over the media; it's infuriating and laughable all at the same time. In many cases, the higher the position, the greater the offense, and the cockier the thinking or the belief that they are untouchable while their bond with darkness grows deeper. They conveniently forget that God has given us ALL the same choice at free will with the option to withstand EVIL. A chance and ability for our souls to escape spending an eternity in HELL which is inevitable if we refuse to change our direction from wickedness! The world which has partnered with the prince of darkness has its own unclear and forever-changing set of rules and regulations based on principles lacking everything that is good and seeks to steal, kill and destroy the soul of all mankind! There has been a SHIFT and a war waging between light and darkness [God and evil (iniquity)] since the beginning of civilization and we ALL are right in the middle of it serving as pawns on both sides. Being used by God as a pawn on the side of light is one thing, but I must be mindful as well as careful not to allow myself to be used as a pawn by darkness to do the bidding of evil-doers. The true test is making the right choice to pick the right side and to be FULLY committed to staying in position no matter the circumstances to conquer life and death. Amazingly, Lucifer doesn't seem to have too much trouble convincing his followers to be faithful in support of his agenda against God! Ironically, many are afraid of death, dying, and pain; but, they don't realize that death is also a part of living at the end or the beginning of the life cycle! So, I have made it a point not to follow the crowd even if others seem to be getting ahead in their wrongdoing by partnering on the side of darkness in search of self-gratification. There's way too much at stake! My initial encounter and interaction with people, unfortunately, from a place of fear, and being wounded has tainted my perspective (mindset) about who God is; and, I have unfairly compared HIM to others when HE is so much more and GREATLY different! God is like no person on the planet or in the entire universe. HE is in a separate league or category all by HIMSELF and I must ALWAYS remember this without question! What a BLESSING it is to know that HE exudes integrity, honor, and love differently from what has been demonstrated to me through the actions of human beings like me! Unfortunately, much has happened and I struggle to understand the why of it all to include questioning when it all will come to a glorious end. I have been fighting to rise above my anger and frustration concerning all of what I have experienced, seen, and witnessed at the hands of those walking a tightrope on the side of darkness while still being expected to exercise ABSOLUTE forgiveness! God's EXPECTATION of me is very clear and it is very important to me to obey HIM! HE hasn't made any attempts to disillusion me about my role or HIS expectations; and, although HE never said it was going to be easy, I don't remember HIM telling me that it would be this hard either. However, HE did say that HIS yoke is easy and HIS burden is light. In fact, Matthew 11:28-30 states: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." You have to be willing to develop a personal [one-on-one face-to-face] and genuine relationship with God to get to know HIM for yourself. That includes understanding HIS role as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in how HE operates through us, around us, and within each of us as willing participants! No one person aside from Jesus Christ is perfect and God has taken EVERYTHING into consideration of where we are - to meet us in our afflictions for growth. HE has accounted for how we think considering the difference in our personalities to include the faint at heart! HE is EL ROI! HE sees me and knows me better than I know myself. HE knows the beginning and the end to know exactly what motivates me or pushes me to spiral out of control. God is always talking to me, teaching me, encouraging me, and revealing secrets to direct me. There are times when I would prefer not to see the unveiling of darkness to know the TRUTH. Seeing it and feeling helpless to stop it or not being able to change the outcome is too painful. However, God doesn't want me to be oblivious to the TRUTH around me and it is just as important for me to know that HE is completely aware of all the wrongdoing and corruption in the world! I may not necessarily agree with HIS timing for setting things right or with every lesson in how HE has chosen to enlighten me through my trials and tribulations along my journey but, I am learning that EVERYTHING is DIVINELY connected! I MUST accept that God knows what I need when I fail to understand what I need for myself and HE knows what to use to get me to move forward. HE knows what I am holding in my heart which threatens to keep me bound; that which threatens to interfere with me being made whole to heal through forgiveness. No matter what, FORGIVENESS is mandatory! Love over hate must prevail to reverse the suffering! DEATH, DYING, and LIFE God's ways are not our ways and our ways are not HIS ways. Nothing happens without HIS permission that HE doesn't allow. Just as Christ who is referenced as being the second Adam was born, He was also born with a purpose to die TO SAVE US FROM OURSELVES. As explained to me by God, everyone is born to die and how we live here on Earth in the physical in pursuit of fulfilling our purpose determines how we will live throughout eternity. Many are afraid of dying but refuse to consider their actions in how they respond to situations and interact with others. There are phases to death which begins with dying to self to be able to live out God's will for our lives. When we die to self, we are able to soar to new heights through SPIRITUAL ELEVATION to enjoy our inheritance [living out our eternity in HEAVEN and on Earth]! Put another way, we can die and be promoted to GLORY or die and be demoted to live our eternity tied to darkness. Death and dying is inevitable just as life and living is inevitable! No one likes to discuss death and very little preparation is made to get ready for what's coming! But, we MUST get ready and God doesn't want us to be caught off guard! I am not ready for what's coming, but I have no choice other than to get ready; and, if necessary, operate through it to do it afraid while relying on the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) as my anchor! My greatest challenge has been the long-suffering and knowing that God has flipped Luke 12:48 on me! HE told me: "to whom much is required, much is given!" HE didn't have to share that with me but HE did and for a GREATER understanding, I'm grateful. 1 JOHN 3:4-12 ~ Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness [ignoring God’s law by action or neglect or by tolerating wrongdoing—being unrestrained by His commands and His will]. You know that He appeared [in visible form as a man] in order to take away sins; and in Him there is [absolutely] no sin [for He has neither the sin nature nor has He committed sin or acts worthy of blame]. No one who abides in Him [who remains united in fellowship with Him—deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin. No one who habitually sins has seen Him or known Him. Little children (believers, dear ones), do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who practices righteousness [the one who strives to live a consistently honorable life—in private as well as in public—and to conform to God’s precepts] is righteous, just as He is righteous. The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God]; for the devil has sinned and violated God’s law from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, because God’s seed [His principle of life, the essence of His righteous character] remains [permanently] in him [who is born again—who is reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose]; and he [who is born again] cannot habitually [live a life characterized by] sin, because he is born of God and longs to please Him. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are clearly identified: anyone who does not practice righteousness [who does not seek God’s will in thought, action, and purpose] is not of God, nor is the one who does not [unselfishly] love his [believing] brother. For this is the message which you [believers] have heard from the beginning [of your relationship with Christ], that we should [unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another; and not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother [Abel]. And why did he murder him? Because Cain’s deeds were evil, and his brother’s were righteous. Darkness is and has been positioning itself to consume the light for quite some time. Because I have made a conscious and committed decision to partner with God, the light in me will always be targeted by the darkness here on Earth which is not my home! The closer we get to the end, it may seem as if the darkness is winning! But Jesus came to overcome the prince of darkness and HE succeeded. FOOD FOR THOUGHT: The climate controls the weather. A change in the climate impacts the energy in the atmosphere. Storms may bring lightning and/or thunder. There can be lightning with no rain or rain with no lightning. There can be thunder with no rain or rain with no thunder. The presence of rain coming or a storm developing can be determined by the movement of the clouds. Sometimes the clouds form over the sun to make way for the darkness. Sometimes it has been known to storm while allowing the sun to continually shine through. When the darkness moves in, the energy changes to impact personalities and temperaments. Are you paying attention to the formation of the darkness to include a change in the energy forming around us to note that the time is near for ALL to get ready?
