Lady Bears Volleyball Picked Third In CIAA ; Second In Northern Division

Posted By: Kennedy Williams on August 24, 2022 The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announced the 2022 predicted order of finish as selected by the head coaches. Fayetteville State was picked to win the Southern Division title for the third time in as many seasons while Elizabeth City State was predicted to win the Northern Division. The Broncos were also predicted to finish atop the conference overall. Shaw was picked to finish third overall in the CIAA and second in the CIAA Northern Division behind ECSU in spite of winning the division last season. The Lady Bears finished last season 16-1 in CIAA action and 18-6 overall before falling to FSU in the CIAA Championship match in Bowie, MD.
