In fact, you don't need to spend years and years in college to land a career you genuinely enjoy. Here are five careers for someone who has an Associate's degree. Web DeveloperIf you have a knack for building websites, you might like to become a web developer. In fact, you can also design websites to make them appear aesthetically pleasing. Other tasks you may perform include writing code, monitoring website traffic, creating applications, and meeting with clients. As a web developer, you'll need to be able to handle being in front of a computer screen for hours on a regular basis. Veterinary TechnicianOne way for animal lovers to work with animals all day is to become a veterinary technician. You could even work with zoo animals, farm animals, or small animals in an animal practice. A few tasks you may be doing are grooming, getting pets ready for surgery, taking X-rays, and administering medications. Medical AssistantIf becoming a doctor isn't right for you, but you'd still like to work in the medical field, you might like to be a medical assistant. For one, you may work in a hospital doing tasks such as measuring blood pressure, administering vaccinations, assisting doctors, and more. Preschool TeacherBecoming a preschool teacher can be a great way to let your inner child out regularly and help young children learn and grow.
