Take a look into this year's Oprah Winfrey Endowed Scholars Program trip to South Africa, facilitated by the Office of International Education and the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership. Exposing students to opportunities to immerse themselves in the culture and experiences of others is a crucial step in creating understanding, respect, and recognition of the parallel challenges faced by world citizens in the U.S. and globally mindedness) and trained as technically and culturally competent global citizens. The Office of International Education provides short and long-term, credit-bearing and noncredit-bearing study abroad programming for Morehouse College students. The Office seeks to increase the number and nature of experiences offered, and to increase student and faculty participation in study abroad programs. Oprah Winfrey South Africa Leadership Program is funded by the Oprah Winfrey endowment, to learn about the politics and culture of the country, social justice and HIV. Learn more at morehouse.edu.
