One way to do this is by getting a career certification. Many types of career certifications are available, and you can often get them in less than a year. Here are some of the most popular types of career certifications.

CPR or AED Certification



This certification is necessary for anyone who wants to work in the medical field or wants to be able to help someone in an emergency. The CPR/AED certification teaches individuals how to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator.

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification



The CEH certification is offered by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants and is designed to certify individuals proficient in ethical hacking techniques. To qualify for the CEH certification, you must have two years of information security understanding. The CEH certification exam consists of 125 queries and is four hours long.

Medical Assistant Certification



With the rise of online medical coding classes, getting certified and entering the healthcare field is easier than ever. Medical assistants often work directly with patients, performing tasks like taking vital signs and recording medical history.



They also assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and organizing medical records.

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certification



The CISA certification is presented by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and is designed to certify individuals proficient in auditing information systems. To qualify for the CISA certification, you must have at least five years of information systems auditing experience, three years of experience, and a college degree in information systems auditing or a related field.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification



The CSM certification is offered by Scrum Alliance and is designed to certify individuals proficient in Scrum methodology. To qualify for the CSM certification, you must have attended a two-day CSM training course from a certified Scrum Trainer. The CSM certification exam consists of 35 questions and is one-hour long.
