Mr. Cooper is responsible for the university's strategic vision and execution of information technology. “Information Technology equals innovation. It is the foundation of business operations as it provides ways to complete tasks in an automated, fast, and effective fashion”, said Dr. George T. French Jr., Clark Atlanta University President. “IT provides ways to access data in real-time while protecting the integrity of the data. Mr. Cooper has been integral in maintaining the probity of the university’s data through restructuring and transforming our system’s processes. His accomplishments include safeguarding IT systems within the organization to ensure security compliance, implementing a robust risk management /cyber security program to reduce overall risk, and much more.
