Posted By: S. Moore on February 02, 2023

Frank Holland reports on Alt-Finance, a unique fellowship introducing HBCU students to alternative investing, created by Ares Capital, Oaktree Capital and Apollo Global Management.

The AltFinance Fellowship powered by MLT will introduce students to investing and operations and tap into their entrepreneurial spirit—key elements of a career in the alternative investment industry.

The alternative investment industry is an exciting form of finance outside the traditional system. It provides access to leverage a greater portion of capital and asset classes and an opportunity to enter a growing part of the global economy. The AltFinance Fellowship provides fellows with a personalized roadmap, skills building, and connections to be competitive in a career in the alternative investment industry.
