Posted By: Kimberly G. on March 03, 2023 The National Science Policy Network is a non-profit that seeks to provide support for the next generation of science policy leaders. NSPN’s HBCU & MSI SciPol College Tour webinar series was launched in 2021 to empower early-career STEM students, scientists, and researchers from HBCUs, Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and Minority Serving Institutions. The series provides tools to attain strong, confident voices and writing skills in science policy, advocacy, and public discourse revolving around issues where science can be utilized to positively impact underserved populations. During the series, participants are exposed to and engage with science policy professionals and science policy careers within legislative fields, government agencies, and the private sector, along with opportunities in science policy, advocacy, and NSPN membership. The Spring 2023 HBCU & MSI Science Policy College Tour webinar series is scheduled for March 28-30, 2023.
