Posted By: S. Moore on March 28, 2023 Marion Ross Fedrick, EdD 2021, has been selected for the 2023 class of Top Ten Most Dominant HBCU Leaders by the HBCU Campaign Fund (HCF). This annual class of leaders are chosen because they have “proven their responsibilities for shaping policies, changing perspectives, and making decisions that affect millions of individuals in the higher education space, and the daily needs of what an HBCU or Minority-Serving Institutions contributes” said Demetrius Johnson Jr, the president and CEO of the HBCU Campaign Fund in the award announcement. Fedrick became the 10th president of Albany State University in 2018, after serving as ASU’s interim executive vice president and interim president. Fedrick’s professional background includes higher education administration, strategic planning, crisis management and strategic partnership management in both the private and public sectors. Congratulations to President Fedrick on this recognition!
