Attn Student Veterans and Military-Connected Individuals at HBCUs!

Posted By: Michael Ramos on April 04, 2023 Dear veterans and military-connected students/faculty attending (or thinking about attending) HBCUs-- Please know you are more than welcome to join VETSxHBCU and friends online for our "Fireside Tea Chat" on Friday, 4/7/23 at 5:30pm ET to talk about all things HBCU, VA benefits, and anything else on your mind. We generally start out with a few moments of mental health improvement to refresh and open our minds, followed by informal and brief introductions, and then talk focused on HBCU students and faculty, and those student veterans and military-connected folks at HBCUs. For example, in a previous get-together we had a guest speaker from the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) join us to teach us what VA benefits and scholarship resources are out there for folks. For this upcoming Fireside Tea Chat, we'll have on a visitor from HBCU Founders Initiative (HBCUFI) as our guest. You can choose to fully participate in the discussion, or simply kick back and listen in on what's on everyone's minds.
