Here are some tips on how to avoid the hurt that can come with protective hairstyles: Take Time to Prepare Before installing a protective hairstyle, take some time to prepare your hair. Detangle your hair properly and moisturize it by applying a good leave-in conditioner or oil to the strands. It’s essential to make sure that your hair is in a good condition before installing a protective style. This will help to reduce the chances of breakage and discomfort.
