On average, Black women in STEM earn salaries that are 45% lower than their highest-paid peers. BestColleges is committed to breaking down barriers for students in underrepresented communities, who desire careers in the most competitive fields. That’s why we are offering a total of $30,000 in five scholarships worth $6,000 each. We believe that providing financial assistance and support for Black women in STEM is a crucial step in breaking down barriers and bridging the gap in these fields. Our scholarship is open to Black women who are currently enrolled or intend to enroll in a degree program in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
