Oh, Please! Give Me a Challenge: Seeking Someone Brave Enough to Contest My Proposal for the Eradication of Systemic Racism

Posted By: Jason Breckenridge on May 23, 2023

September will commemorate the passage of two years since the unveiling of Planetary Chess, and astonishingly, it remains an undeniable fact that not a single individual has dared to contest my proposition for the eradication of systematic racism or racism white supremacy(rws)—yes, not a solitary soul! How can such an implausible occurrence come to pass? Though I must confess my limited comprehension of this enigma, I have conceived a cogent hypothesis. Undoubtedly, systemic racism emerges as the most formidable obstacle we confront, as individuals of Caucasian descent have disassociated themselves from the actions of their progenitors, all the while persisting in the consumption of inherited privileges bestowed upon them through generations of unpaid toil.

“I didn’t do it. I’ve never owned slaves. I have lots of black friends…” is the prevailing logic. Cool, I get that part from them however, the machine of rws needs no operator and thus continues to press on. The perils and snares entangling black folks are intricately interwoven within the very foundation of our nation, as ‘the powers that be’ subtly endeavor to conceal this undeniable verity. The current discourse seeking to conceal such historical truths has been designated as "critical race theory." Henceforth, the initial rationale behind my assertion that Black folks, as a collective, display a seeming indifference towards the cessation of systemic racism is rooted in the sheer magnitude of the predicament, which appears gargantuan and beyond grasp.

Furthermore, we find ourselves somewhat oblivious to our own exceptionalism, as the adage "Necessity is the mother of all invention" resonates profoundly. Moreover, after grappling with the same arduous battle for over four centuries... it is lamentable that the majority among us remain unaware that we have, in fact, meticulously unraveled the intricate complexities of the racism Rubik's Cube. This systemic mastery has been taught in small study circles for such an extensive duration that lectures elucidating this subject matter can be found in monochromatic hues on YouTube! A lineage of erudite scholars dedicated to countering racism has made indelible contributions to the grand design of Planetary Chess, their sagacity and scholarly pursuits regrettably concealed from the wider populace. Thus, we continue to endure and suffer under the oppressive machinery of this system for one sole reason: the paucity of knowledge that afflicts us.

Consequently, fear emerges as the prevailing malefactor in this narrative. While I typically refrain from broaching the subject of slavery unless absolutely imperative, as it tends to evoke discomfort among many, I shall delve into it nonetheless, for my fervent desire is to catch a brother having a Kyrie or Kanye moment.. instances when the rich (house) negroes momentarily forget their entrapment within the confines of the plantation, yet ardently yearn for liberation. Permit me to expound upon the apprehension rooted in resolute opposition to rws. A decade ago, I penned an essay entitled "unification theory," which meticulously delineated that there exist merely three categories encompassing black folk in America, concurrently proposing a harmonious synergy among them.

These three classes encompass: house, field, and those who have managed to escape.

The essence of warfare lies in the art of deception; hence, the insidious truth surfaces that slavery remains an unceasing reality. Rather than witnessing the true cessation of this abhorrent institution, our forebears were merely granted liberation from the confines of the "Big House" and the "quarters," subsequent to the systematic eradication and brutal suppression of their innate African heritage. Through perusing the poignant letters and correspondences of enslaved individuals, as exemplified in the seminal work "Slave Testimony" authored by John Blassingame, a striking revelation emerges: when the emancipation proclamation was promulgated, certain slaves harbored an inexplicable reluctance to forsake the perceived "comforts" inherent in the existence of plantation life.

Traditionally, the archetype of the house servant has exhibited a marked indifference towards the eradication of systemic racism, preoccupied instead with augmenting their own standing within the established order. Enveloped by an overpowering trepidation of challenging the prevailing system, they have willingly relinquished their longing for emancipation, opting instead for the illusory "comforts" derived from material wealth and preferential treatment. Embracing a mindset reminiscent of "if you can't beat them, join them," they adhere to this philosophy until the dire consequences of their subservience become evident, when the oppressive master inevitably reminds them of their subordinate status. At times, these poignant moments of lucidity result in their expulsion from the plantation and thrust them towards liberation, as exemplified by the case of Colin Kaepernick. This incident, fully illustrates the case for corporations as modern day plantations.

In a similar vein, the trepidation experienced by the field servant mirrors that of their counterparts in the house, yet it is often intensified by the harsher circumstances endured. While an inherent desire to depart from the corporations may permeate their consciousness, the invisible shackles of fear pertaining to the uncharted territories beyond confine them. Compounded with this fear of the unknown is a pervasive lack of self-assurance, impeding their belief in their own resilience and ability to persevere in the face of adversity.

Having personally experienced the realms encompassing all three categories, I am compelled to defend the fears harbored by the aforementioned classes, recognizing that their apprehensions primarily stem from a lack of comprehension. This brings us full circle to the crux of our initial discourse: our collective demise arises from the scarcity of knowledge. Indeed, when black folks obtain the pertinent wisdom to conquer the game, racism dissipates from their realm of existence entirely!

In conclusion, one may attempt to dismiss the significance of Planetary Chess, but in due course, all shall bear witness to the triumphant application of root cause analysis. No longer shall we merely trim the leaves and branches; instead, we shall unearth the very foundations of systematic racism, uprooting the entire tree.
