Prairie View A&M University Prepares To Open Stae-Of-The-Art Engineering Building

Designed by Stantec Architecture and built by Vaughn Construction, the new 106,000-square-foot structure will support multidisciplinary research, interdisciplinary collaboration and additional instruction space. "The Roy G. Perry College of Engineering is renowned for producing excellent engineers because of its good curriculum and outstanding faculty. Adding this building gives students access to the latest in technology and high-quality resources resulting in a better-quality education, inspiring them to achieve their best performance," said Pamela Obiomon, Ph.D., dean of the Roy G. Perry College of Engineering. Now in its 75th year, the Roy G. Perry College of Engineering has grown to house over 1,100 students and more than 100 faculty members, researchers and staff in its six-building complex and 12 cutting-edge research centers.
