Tuskegee Alumni Step Up to Save Historic Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center
|
Posted By: S. Moore on June 29, 2023 Tuskegee alums are stepping up to support the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center renovation with endowment donations. Dr. Charlotte Morris met Don Winston '72 (left) and Billy Abrams '68 this week to discuss the support of the alums and an extended group of other classmates who are coming together to support the renovation project. Winston and Abram's group represent the first donors to the campaign and will select a room where the names of all the donors from his team who contributed will be listed. Gifts from this effort will go to support the building endowment for the newly renovated facility. The Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center is one of 12 worldwide and the only one located on a Historically Black College or University campus. Tax-deductible gifts for the renovation provide much-needed support to ensure that this historic building may continue to be used for current and future generations of students, alumni and the local community.
