McFarlin is the Executive Producer on the popular series Grown & Gospel, Brat Loves Judy, A La Carte and 50 Cent’s Hip Hop Homicides. With over twenty years’ experience in the entertainment industry, McFarlin began her career as a production assistant at CNN in Atlanta, GA., and she has garnered a strong reputation for crafting layered, elevated stories of larger-than-life characters that are "wildly" entertaining. Participants will experience an intense 3-day workshop series that arms them with the tangible tools they need to navigate the world of television and film. Each day teaches and exposes very specific skills needed to gain access to and thrive in an industry that is often closed off to those without the relationships and pedigree of the industry elite. "Our team is committed to building up a legion of filmmakers, writers, television producers, and directors who will catapult the television industry to new heights with fresh stories and innovative storytelling styles", says McFarlin.
