The Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) is looking for someone with direct expertise in auditing, accounting, with at least two years of supervisory experience, to fill its Director, Internal Auditor position. In this role, you will provide impartial assurance and consulting services that bring value to improve the company's operations. As the Director of Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and regulations, you will guarantee that financial, managerial, and operational information is accurate, reliable, and timely. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for improvement and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as you will engage with the Board of Commissioners, General Manager, senior management, employees, and external agencies.
