Before I get into serious relationships I always let the woman know what she is getting before her feelings get invested in us. I believe feelings are a real important thing. It always seems like the girl does alot of changing after we get in a relationship. Things will start to bother them more and they will start to fuss a whole lot. Its like you never get to see the best and worst of them ahead of time like you supply them with. I think it is a mature thing to show all of yourself, all the time. Yea, we do that. Not on purpose. But, I can tell you from my own experience, that nothing helps us "mature" in that area with a guy than being told the truth. If you tell us what we're working with up front, we are forced to make the decision to leave you alone, to go forward, or if it is the case, to settle. When we make the choice having been given the facts, (even when we don't like the facts) The woman learns to contend with her own choices. Not blame you for our choices. We still fuss! But it should be sinking in with every arguement that it's not your fault that we're unhappy because you are you. It's our fault for having settled for something other than we really want, so eventually we learn to accept you for who you are or we learn to trust our instincts and leave it on a friendly level. You are right! This is definately an area we need to give guys props for. We, women, "mature" faster in a million areas, this one in general, we are SLOW. We could be faster, but you would have to give up the grace of our beautiful range of emotions, and so many other positive areas that we blow by you.
