Janssen and HBCU CONNECT Open Doors for HBCU-Educated Scientists and Pharma Professionals

Moore on September 29, 2023 HBCU Connect and Janssen hosted a recruitment event on September 28th, 2023, that offered professionals with over two years of experience in various fields of the pharmaceutical and scientific industry a unique opportunity to embark on a transformative journey. The event brilliantly connected talent with opportunities, providing a springboard for professionals to take their careers to the next level. The event unfolded with a warm welcome from Larry Jemison, HBCU Connect's VP, setting the stage for a session of enlightenment and empowerment. Janssen followed suit delivering an insightful overview of the company and its bright future. The heart of the event was the Janssen Panel Discussion Featuring experts in the industry – Eunice Artis, Xavier Hudson, Anna Temu, Eriene Wasef, and Stephanie Rivera, participants gained profound insights and wisdom from these accomplished professionals. But it didn't stop there. Breakout sessions provided an intimate space for attendees to engage with the panelists, asking questions and delving into the particulars of their respective fields. One-on-one networking opportunities with Janssen’s team further fueled aspirations. The response was overwhelming With over 439 interested candidates, 229 confirmations, and a max concurrent of 164 attendees on the call, far surpassing the initial goal of 50 attendees.
