R&B Diva and God-Daughter of Soul Leela James Stops By Prairie View A&M University For A Special Girl Talk Session!
|
Posted By: Shae Johnson on October 13, 2023 R&B Diva and God-Daughter of Soul, Leela James stopped by Prairie View A&M University for a special girl talk, "Right Back In It". The 1-hour session consisted of students of all classifications participating in an interactive talk about life, love, relationships, health, wellness, setting goals, being the best version of you, and so much more. The event was hosted by the student radio station, KPVU Radio 91.3 (Prairie View's student-operated station). Students were able to ask Leela James questions about the music industry, and personal questions such as "How to learn to love yourself". The event got emotional when Leela encouraged the ladies to take their health seriously by getting their annual exams, doing self-breast exams, and not allowing everyone in your personal space. Leela also allowed the students to preview some of her new music from her upcoming project "Thought U Knew" which comes out on October 27th on all streaming platforms. This event was the 3rd stop on Leela's HBCU "Right Back In It" Girl Talk series. She previously stopped at Morris Brown College and Clark Atlanta University.
