GE Appliances and HBCU Connect Announce Winner of Business Scholarship. Congratulations to Caulin Avery!
Posted By: Sofía Montiel on October 20, 2023 In a celebration of talent, diversity, and academic excellence, GE Appliances, a Haier company and HBCU Connect are excited to announce the winner of the highly anticipated Business Scholarship. We are delighted to announce that Caulin Avery has been awarded $1,000 for tuition, room & board, or books. We received a considerable number of submissions from highly accomplished students, making the selection process extremely difficult. We wish Caulin the best of luck with this scholarship opportunity. Caulin Avery, a standout student at North Carolina A&T State University (Class of 2025, majoring in Communication), shines as the Aggie News Sports Anchor for The A&T Register. With a wealth of experience in broadcasting and public communications, Caulin's talent earned him a coveted spot in the ESPN Digital Mentorship during his junior year, making him a name to watch in the field. The GE Appliances HBCU Connect Scholarship Program, a collaboration aimed at connecting Historically Black College & University students and graduates with exciting career prospects, internships, and scholarships, has been a resounding success. This partnership has demonstrated the power of collaboration and the importance of fostering opportunities for underrepresented communities. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to GE Appliances for their solid support and for making this scholarship program possible. Their commitment to diversity, education, and empowering talented individuals from HBCUs is praiseworthy. Together, we are making a meaningful impact and opening doors to a brighter future. Once again, congratulations to Caulin Avery on this well-deserved achievement. We wish him continued success in his academic pursuits and beyond.
