Worried and Lost

Posted By: Chioma Ota on June 08, 2006 So I sent all my papers into Howard awhile ago and so far all I've gotten is a receipt for the enrollment fee. Where is my housing info? When am I supposed to register for classes? I keep emailing and calling but I'm not getting the answers I need. August is soo close and I feel so unprepared! What am I supposed to do? Girl, you and I are in the same boat. I sent all of my materials in early. I've called and gotten forwarded to voicemail. I haven't gotten much information at all. My advice is to keep being persisitent. Email and call until they are tired of hearing from you! Follow up with a letter to the departments you want to hear from. Do your research on the website or by talking with other students like you are on this site; find out what is the norm for getting info from Howard. Remember that this is a college administration and there are a lot of students. They are just slow by nature. A lot of universities do this. But no doubt the admin is working hard to get all of the holes filled before we all get crazy on them. Just know and take comfort in knowing that a lot of us are in the same situation that you are in (at least I am). Stay in touch with me too, so I can let you know if I get any information. ~Angi

i kno its kind crazy that they be takin mad long to answer peoples questions. my mom stay calling them for something. Well u should be gettin ur housing info soon.seem like mad fresh got the annex..cuz i did.lol..and registration for classes is from july 10 to july 17(i believe so).u can check the website again.lol...well hopeffully u get ur stuff soon..cuz i would feel the same exact way.august in like 2 months

Thanks girls! I finally got some answers today. I didn't know what to do when somebody picked up the phone lol. Anyway I'm in Meridian . Now what is this talk about a math placement exam? lol
