Posted By: Joel Savage on December 31, 2023 Everyone looks forward to and enjoys the holidays of Christmas and New Year. Although it is the ideal time to see our loved ones and explore the New Year, we must also remember that the holidays also bring with them the possibility of unforeseen harmful situations at home, on the highway, and when visiting. We must use the utmost caution to prevent them or reduce the risk as much as possible. Even though Ghana has a lot of poor and hazardous roads, a lot of drivers drive while intoxicated. Drunk driving is the primary cause of hundreds of deaths in automobile accidents each year. Additionally, because it impairs driver focus, using a mobile phone while operating a motor vehicle can be extremely dangerous. It's a really a bad idea for drivers, especially those who operate commercial trucks, to speed to earn additional money. Many of these drivers who enjoy speeding never make it to their destination with their passengers; instead, they are involved in dangerous collisions, killing their passengers, and those who are fortunate enough to survive will never be the same. Thus, the recommendation is, "If you drink, don't drive; if you drive, don't drink; stop spilling blood on the streets."
