HBCU Connect Celebrates a Decade of Dynamic Partnership with Walgreens

This enduring collaboration, which commenced in 2011, has empowered HBCU graduates and Black professionals by providing access to exciting career opportunities within Walgreens. Will Moss, CEO of HBCU Connect, reflects on the decade-long partnership “Since 2011, we have been working with Walgreens to help HBCU students and graduates connect with rewarding careers and internships, and we are proud to continue the partnership. Our audience has grown to see Walgreens as an employer of choice due to the breadth of opportunities that Walgreens has to offer, from Pharmacy careers to Technology careers.” Over the years, this strategic alliance has produced impressive results. Moss highlights, “Since forming our partnership, we have tracked over 9 Million Job views, thousands of applications submitted, and well over 38 million brand impressions on our website and social media channels.” Walgreens has consistently held a prominent position on HBCU Connect’s list of Top 50 Employers for HBCU talent, establishing itself as a preferred employer for the community.
