Calling all HBCU STEM Students! Make a Difference at JPMorgan Chase
Posted By: S. Moore on March 04, 2024

Looking to enhance your coding and data analytics skills? JPMorgan Chase has you covered!

This spring, JPMorgan Chase is hosting a Data For Good Hackathon welcoming students who attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to gain insight into how JPMorgan Chase leverages Analytics and Data Science to drive innovation and serve our communities.

On Friday, April 19th and Saturday, April 20th participants will be placed on a team with other students from across the country to collaborate and analyze large, social good data sets and derive insights for a leading nonprofit organization. Participants will work side-by-side with JPMorgan Chase researchers and data scientists, learning from their experience as they creatively solve real world problems faced by social organizations. Participants are encouraged to develop cutting-edge ideas that could make a difference in society.

In addition to networking with other aspiring data scientists from around the world, Data for Good is also a chance to meet our recruiting teams and experience what it's like to work in Analytics and Data Science at JPMorgan Chase.

Participants will need to bring their own laptops to the event. Travel expenses will be covered by JPMorgan Chase, though conditions will apply. Further details and instructions will be provided to successful applicants.
