2024 Genesis GV80 SUV's Luxury Appeal

2024 Genesis GV80 SUV
Posted By: Randi Payton on March 04, 2024

After spitting off from Hyundai to become its luxury division more than 15 years ago, the Genesis brand quickly became a major competitor to top European and Asian vehicles like Lexus, Mercedes, and BMW. When the sophisticated Genesis GV80 SUV was first introduced in 2021, it surprised rivals by delivering extra luxury and an eye-catching appeal at a much lower price.

Looking more expensive than it is, the Genesis GV80 is at the forefront of luxury SUVs, offering more bang for the buck with advanced technology and features, superior quality sheet metal, and a plush interior. Additional features include comfortable front seats with massaging, adjustable rear seats with heated and cooled cushions, and a Wi-Fi hotspot connecting five devices.

All GV80 models come with a full suite of drive-assistance features, including a semi-autonomous driving mode that learns the style of each driver and adapts the vehicle’s performance.

Other advanced safety features that make highway driving less stressful and ensure confidence include the standard all-wheel-drive system, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automated parking.

Models/Price: The 2024 Genesis GV80 mid-size SUV comes in eight trim levels starting at $59,050 and goes up to $83,270 for the top-of-line Prestige Signature model I tested. Models include Standard, Advanced, and Prestige.

Power/Engines: The 2024 Genesis GV80 offers several engine options, including a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and a 3.5-liter that generates 375 horses.

MPG: The 2024 Genesis GV80 2.5T four-cylinder averages 20 city/24 highway mpg, while the more powerful turbocharged 3.5-liter six-cylinder engine gets 18 city/23 highway mpg, according to the EPA.

For up-to-date information on the 2024 Genesis GV80, including price, features, and specifications, contact your local dealership or visit www.genesis.com.
