NJ Native C.A.L Combines A Collection Of Sounds With Single "Honesty Hour"

NJ native C.A.L combines a collective of sounds including Doopwap, R&B, and complex lyricism to effectively display a sound that is embraceable to the masses. The artist is the son of Gerald Alston the lead singer of the Grammy Award winning group The Manhattan's and Edna Alston who is a professional dancer and choreographer. C.A.L started his musical journey before middle school learning how to find his creative niche by ear. C.A.L studied artist like Keith Murray, Fabulous, Jay-z, Rakim and Lil Wayne to obtain structure and concept bars. He then wanted to develop his vocal ability by training with his father and uncle gaining the proper techniques to deliver unforgettable vocals. Some of the artist that he constantly would listen to were several of the R&B greats such as Stevie Wonder, Micheal Jackson, Whitney Houston, Usher and Jazmine Sullivan. C.A.L is a musical hybrid and a soul full of iconic music to come. C.A.L first EP was entitled "M.E." followed by his mixtape "Freshman" and his current release "Rebirth and Revelations" which feature his single "Honesty Hour" which is available on all digital platforms.
