Posted By: Kimberly Myers on June 11, 2006 I can't believe that I'm almost done with high school...I've been on this site since my freshman year, and honestly it feels like just yesterday I was a freshman.But on to why I really posted. I'm really having troubles on deciding what schools I should apply to. I still hope to apply to Howard, but their % addmitted is kind of low. So my second and third choices are North Carolina A&T and Hampton. A friend of mines that recently graduated from Bowie State told me that it might be in my interest to apply to a P.W.I.(predominately white institute) since they give out a lot of minority scholarships. Well I better get started on applications soon, so that by the fall all I have to do is get my transcripts and SAT scores done.. ......:::::07::::::....... pwi r good but if u really want 2 go to an hbcu then do it. alot of people worry about the money and so do i but when deciding a school always remember 2 follow ur heart my first choice was howard and when i got in i knew no matter what that is where i was gonna be i have 2 take out a 20000 dollar loan but itg doesnt matter because i know that i will never regret doin this because howard is in my heart so just remember there is always a way 2 pay so dont worry about that just make sure u go 2 the school that fits u
