Accepting Submissions: The 2024 National Academies Eric & Wendy Schmidt Awards for Excellence in Science Communications

Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on March 19, 2024 Submissions are now being accepted through March 31 for the 2024 National Academies Eric and Wendy Schmidt Awards for Excellence in Science Communications! These awards, given by the National Academies in partnership with Schmidt Sciences, recognize excellent science communicators, science journalists, and research scientists who have developed creative, original work to communicate issues and advances in science, engineering, or medicine for the general public. Submissions are encouraged from individuals who have developed high-quality communications in 2023 and demonstrated the potential or ability to communicate the spectrum of science, engineering, or medicine. Entries are accepted in the following subcategories:
