Kiesha Patterson Howard University class of 2009 I have a friend dat goes 2 Howard now n she told me dat the annex is the best dorm. Its more up to date, you have private bathrooms, AC, a cafe. The whole works. Its better than bein in the quad. On a personal note the whole sisterhood bonding thing is good, but towards the end of the semster or year you r goin 2 have many sisters to lean on . Shari Graham Howard University class of 2009 Hey girls, coming from the quad of course I have a biased view, but the better looking dorm is definately the annex and the private bathroom is a plus. As far as AC, I had AC in the Quad that wasn't a problem. The cafe thing is okay but going to blackburn(the big cafe) is so much better as far as getting to know your classmates and it's fun. Diva J Howard University class of 2010 I am also in the Annex and from the looks of it, a lot of other freshman females are there too... I went to pre-orientation and a lot of the girls there were also assigned to the Annex, so I think c/o of 2010 is going to bring some new flava to the HU Annex this yr ! Kendra Clark Howard University class of 2010 I just want to say that I am a QUAD alumni!!! And the QUAD is def. better than the annex! lol But on a more serious note, the quad really gives you an opportunity to interact with the other freshmen on campus and you meet alot more people living in the quad. Dont get me wrong the annex is nice (actually thats where Im staying next year :-)) but the quad gives you a better "freshman year" experience. Coreen Simpson Howard University class of 2009 WELL DA ANNEX IS NICE AND ALL BUT THE QUAD IS DA STUFF. I LOVE THE QUAD. I MEAN YEA THERE ARE FRESHMAN'S IN THE ANNEX BUT YOU ALSO GOT TO REMEMBER THAT THERE ARE UPPERCLASSMEN AND MOST OF THEM ALREADY ESTABLISH FRIENDSHIPS AND HAVE A LARGER COURSE LOAD.
