Child of a single parent

Posted By: Ariana Simmons on June 12, 2006 I'm a child of a single mom and I just want to say that the respect I have for single parents goes beyond words. My mom takes care of two children alone and not once has she made us feel like we were burdens on her life. Single dads are great too. People don't give single fathers enough credit these days. My mom is a single mother too. Despite all the hardships we've faced she is putting 2 kids through college. I have soo much respect for any woman or man that can take on such a challenge.

Psalms 127:3-5 children are Blessings from the Lord for a reason... No matter what circumstances, situations, people talk etc.

I am a single parent. I love and cherish my daughter. I know she was the blessing that God wanted me to have. I will always respect people male or female that don't run out on their kids. Life is 2 short. Enjoy the moments with your children.

My mother is a single parent of three and she has really been through hell with my siblings and i. I really do love my mother for that. I have a twin sister and we just graduated from school. I think it was a gift to my mother because she had us a the age of 15 and she didnt finish high school because she had to take care of me and my sister. Im glad that she didnt run outof ours lives like my dad did. Fathers day is coming up and we are cooking dinner for my mother. My brother has another year in high school snd Me and my Twin is on our way to school. Life is Good when you have a single-parent you feel more confident.
