Teacher Talks Tribe: The Current State of Education

Call for Submissions – Deadline June 30, 2024

Teacher Talks Tribe: The Current State of Education, an anthology, will be the first of its kind, for and by educators, students, and parents, seeking to make a difference in the lives of our students, by fostering solutions towards success and bringing the whole community to the conversation. We are educating a nation and its future leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, doctors, scientists, and workforce. Education is a critical part of the end result but not without its own stressors. The current state of education weighs upon and impacts the entire community but the quality of that education is at the center. How are the grades on our “Report Card” as an integral part of the sum total to educate children? What overall improvements are needed? Does the “system” need an overhaul? What types of support do the teachers need more of? What are the administrators willing to do to change the narrative and the declining comradery? What are the main stressors? How do we move forward cohesively in a volatile climate? What should be our main focus? As parents, how are we preparing the home environment prior to our children becoming students? What do students see as the issues with where they are and reaching their goals? What is the parent’s role in the students’ goals? What achievement gaps remain and how are we closing them? What is the key to education? These are all valid questions that need answers. Let’s discuss perspectives by bringing our collective voices together.
