This year’s Seltos adds several updates and refinements to Kia's impressive lineup of low—and moderately priced SUVs. The 2024 Kia Seltos SX Turbo stands out with its compact SUV design, enhanced safety features, updated interior accents, and a vibrant range of new color options. The exterior updates, including a restyled front grille, updated lighting, a rear light bar connecting the taillamps, and new wheel designs, add to its appeal. This model is a testament to Kia’s commitment to style, reliability, performance, and price value. Stepping into the Seltos SX Turbo, I immediately noticed the abundance of advanced technology and premium features. From the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation to the Harman Kardon premium audio system, every new feature elevates comfort and convenience. Models/Price: The 2024 Seltos offers five trim levels that cater to various preferences and budgets. Pricing starts competitively, with the base LX trim offering affordability without compromising essential features, and the SX Turbo represents the pinnacle of luxury and performance in the lineup. Models include the LX ($25,865), S ($26,465), EX ($27,265), SX X-Line ($30,165), and the range-topping SX Turbo ($31,465) MSRP. The 2024 Kia Seltos SX Turbo offers two powerful four-cylinder engines. The 2.0-liter engine, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, generates 146 horsepower. For those seeking more power, the turbocharged 1.6-liter engine delivers 195 horsepower and is paired with an eight-speed automatic. I had the pleasure of testing the Seltos SX Turbo, and it truly delivered an exhilarating driving experience, whether in dense city traffic or on the open highway. The 2024 Kia Seltos SX Turbo is a testament to Kia's commitment to safety. It comes equipped with a suite of advanced drive-assistance technologies, including blind-spot collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist. The SX Turbo trim takes safety a step further with additional enhancements like forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian detection and a surround-view monitor for enhanced visibility when maneuvering in tight spaces. Fuel Economy: According to EPA estimates, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder averages 34 mpg on the highway, while the 1.6-liter turbo averages 32 mpg.
