WHAT ARE OUR FAVORITE MEALS MADE BY DAD, HIS DAD, HER DAD, THEIR DAD

Posted By: Hija Chang on June 26, 2024 My Father a creator of 5 children that we know of (he was in the military) held down the kitchen duties because it was his God given gift, a Chef one of the many hats he wore. He was born into a family of 6 children, 3 girls, 3 boys to Reverend Mattie Heastie and Daniel C Moss; In Miami Florida there was a lot of yummy meals shared in their family such as Seafood Dad can eat that fish with the head on, tail on, fins on fried and laid to the side* How about having a father from Nassau Bahamas, there were desserts such as Coconut Candy, or Coconut Ice Cream, all of which HBCUConnect Dad Billy Moss made homemade* Conch Fritters I was his sous chef grinding all the ingredients in the silver grinder with the wooden handle, Bell peppers, Onion, Conch, Bread, I don't think he used Tomato. I have since made the recipe last year and it was as yummy as the original Chef thanks to help from the channels on Youtube and the Restaurant Depot* I have not mastered or attempted the Shrimp Fried Rice, but my brother Daniel has it down packed; The Chicken Wings I never got enough, still I have yet to master them but Tony Chachere's seasoning is in the cabinet and that's the first step* https://www.tonychachere.com/shop/?product... My main man Dad Bill Moss owned a BBQ restaurant named "Nassau Daddy's BBQ Pit, that was before my time but it was off 5th Avenue on New York Street. The days we spent in the backyard with his watered down Open Pit BBQ sauce to keep the meat moist, pitch fork utensil, and a stool, we manned the meat* I didn't event start eating BBQ until my adult years; The bone was not appealing> After I attended college in North Carolina and got dipped in the culture the activity of BBQ'ing is a must but it's no fun without a stalemate* As I type this there is a pan of Chipped Beef Onions, Cream of Mushroom, and more cooking in the kitchen, we are edited the meal with time but one ingredient stays the same= Budding Beef https://www.tonychachere.com/shop/?product... Ask my friends what they loved most on the after school moments when they were at my house for a social gathering, they'd say his Spaghetti* spicy grown and sexy!
