Posted By: Hija Chang on September 19, 2024 The updates found on the Ford Motor Company' Facebook Page informs us that its been 75 years this month when they launched their Philanthropic Arm of business: "This September, we are celebrating 75 years of Ford Philanthropy! Founded in 1949 as the company’s philanthropic arm, we were created to help strengthen and uplift communities. Since then, Ford and Ford Philanthropy have contributed more than $2.3 billion to support local communities and help build a better world. Today, we continue that legacy by partnering with nonprofits, employee volunteers and Ford dealers to expand access to essential services, education and entrepreneurship. Wherever we can, we use the power of mobility to connect people with the goods and services they need most. "Giving back has been an integral part of Ford’s history and values since the very beginning,” says Mary Culler, President, Ford Philanthropy. “As we celebrate 75 years of impact, we remain deeply committed to leveraging Ford’s unique capabilities and expertise, including our employees who volunteer, to help drive positive change in communities around the world where Ford has roots.” Learn more at fordphilanthropy.org.
