Hawkins Centers of Excellence Grant from the Biden-Harris administration. The grant will support GSU’s GramPREP initiative, aimed at diversifying the educator workforce and addressing the shortage of bilingual teachers. The project, led by Dr. Danielle Williams, Assistant Professor in the College of Education, will provide aspiring teachers from underrepresented populations with extensive training and support, including collaboration with local education agencies (LEAs) and the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET).
