The association also named JOHNNY DAVIS Chair, DAVE COWENS Vice Chair, SAM PERKINS Treasurer and GRANT HILL Secretary. The BOD also includes SHERYL SWOOPES, SHAWN MARION, CARON BUTLER, THURL BAILEY, and JEROME WILLIAMS (NBRPA). CARLOS BARRON was named MLBPA Dir of Security. Prodigy Search worked with MLBPA to place Barron, who most recently served as Dir of Security & Transportation for the Dynamo/Dash/BBVA Stadium (Prodigy Search). BSE Global named former Brainard Capital Management Senior VP DAVID MONK Senior VP/Premium. Monk will be focused on driving revenue for all premium products, including loges and suites (BSE Global). EPL club Everton named former Red Bulls Head of Sport KEVIN THELWELL Dir of Football after the departure of MARCEL BRAND in December (THEATHLETIC.com, 2/27). The MLB Players Alumni Association named baseball HOFer JIM THOME President. He takes over for fellow Baseball HOFer BROOKS ROBINSON (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 2/27). The National Basketball League of Canada's Windsor Express promoted Dir of International & College Scouting AUTRY PARKER BRANTLEY to Assistant VP and Director of Global Scouting (Windsor Express/SBJ).
