Roth Staffing Announces 2024 Scholarship Winners

These scholarships honor HBCU Connect members, professionals, and students, who have made significant contributions to their communities, demonstrating a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and work to improve others’ lives. Roth Staffing’s company purpose, “To make life better for the people we serve®" extends beyond their business efforts to include initiatives like supporting access to quality education and professional development. The 2024 scholarship winners embody this purpose, and HBCU is happy to celebrate their remarkable achievements alongside Roth Staffing. Meet the 2024 Winners Dan’Rae Cowan Jr. is an accomplished leader in accounting and finance, serving as Treasurer for both the NAACP’s Kentucky State University chapter and Pi Sigma Alpha. Dan’Rae’s leadership extends through his involvement with Circle K International and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), where his passion as an advocate for diversity and social justice fuel his commitment to creating positive change. Coretta Williams has always prioritized community service, a value she learned at home. As a standout athlete and leader, Coretta served as both captain and historian/reporter for the St. Johns County 4-H Council. Now, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with a strong focus on advocacy and representation within the healthcare industry. Roth Staffing is honored to support Dan’Rae and Coretta in their educational journeys, confident that these outstanding individuals’ dedication, leadership, and commitment to service will continue to make a lasting impact in their communities.
