2025 Grammy Awards Watch: GloRilla’s GLORIOUS and Tyler, the Creator’s Chromakopia Set to Spark Fan Debates for AOTY
Posted By: TaQuan Ford on October 29, 2024

The 2025 Grammy Awards are shaping up to be a thrilling showdown, with two powerful albums already igniting heated fan debates: GloRilla’s debut GLORIOUS and Tyler, the Creator’s Chromakopia. Both albums are packed with “no-skip” tracks that fans can’t get enough of, sending streams through the roof and creating a buzz that’s hard to ignore.

GloRilla's GLORIOUS
Released on October 10, 2024, GLORIOUS is GloRilla’s highly anticipated debut album. With guest features from Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, T-Pain, and Kirk Franklin, the album blends genres in a way that speaks to fans across musical tastes. Its immediate success, debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, is a testament to GloRilla’s fast-growing influence.

Fans have praised GLORIOUS as a “no-skip” experience, making it a fan-favorite for Album of the Year.

Tyler, the Creator's Chromakopia
Just a week later, Tyler dropped Chromakopia, an introspective, genre-bending collection of 14 tracks. Featuring collaborations with Childish Gambino, Lil Wayne, and GloRilla herself, Chromakopia has been lauded as Tyler’s most reflective work yet. Streaming services are lighting up as fans dive into Tyler’s story of self-discovery and fame’s challenges. Like GLORIOUS, Chromakopia is also considered a “no-skip” album, adding to its Grammy buzz.

The release of these two standout albums has fans torn, sparking debates on social media about who truly deserves the Grammy. As streaming numbers skyrocket, it’s clear these two will be at the forefront of 2025 Grammy conversations, with both albums holding strong cases for Album of the Year.
