Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on December 11, 2024 The APGA Tour – a non-profit organization committed to bringing greater diversity to the game of golf – announced today that APGA Tour player Michael Bradham has been named the winner of the 2024 APGA Adrian Stills Award presented by Cisco. Bradham was named this year’s recipient as determined by a panel of judges and voted on by fellow APGA Tour players. Stills, the award’s namesake, was one of the founders of the APGA Tour after a successful playing career reaching the PGA TOUR. As a recipient, Bradham will receive $25,000 to support his golf career and $10,000 to donate to the charity of his choice. Additionally, Cisco has offered Bradham exemptions into the two limited-field Cisco-sponsored Invitational events for the 2025 APGA Tour season, the APGA Cisco Invitational and the APGA Billy Horschel Invitational presented by Cisco. “We are extremely proud of Michael Bradham’s passion and dedication to the game and our mission,” says Ken Bentley, APGA Chairman. “He is an incredible athlete and great human being who represents the best of what the APGA is about, and this honor is well deserved. I look forward to seeing Michael’s continued growth on and off the course.” "I am honored to win an award named after an amazing golfer and role model like Adrian Stills” said Bradham. “This recognition means so much to me and makes me so proud to have stayed the course to pursue my dreams in golf. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the APGA Tour and their team. I’m also grateful to Cisco for all they do to help myself and my fellow golfers elevate our game. This is an incredible moment in my career that I will always cherish as I continue to grow my game and help pave the way for the next generation of golfers." 35-year-old Michael Bradham started his golf journey in high school before playing at the collegiate level as a student athlete at Prairie View A&M University. During his time on the team, he achieved three wins, several top 5 finishes and earned SWAC All-conference honors three times. From there, he made his professional golf debut in 2013, playing in 10 tournaments over the course of three years, before putting his golf dreams aside to focus on his growing family. Bradham resurfaced on the professional golf scene in 2019, playing on the Golfweek Amateur Tour that year and again in 2021, resulting in several wins. He then went on to the Jacksonville City Amateur Tour, finishing in third place, which led to his decision to continue the path as a professional golfer. This resulted in him securing conditional status for the 2022 APGA Tour season, earning full tour status and concluding the year by winning the APGA’s Farmers Insurance Fall Series Finale. Over the last few seasons, he has continued to see success with standout performances at the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open and the Jim Thorpe Invitational. Continuing the momentum, Bradham ended the 2024 APGA Tour season with a top three finish at the Farmers Insurance Fall Series Finale. The San Antonio native has a long history with sports as he grew up playing basketball, baseball and football. It was in middle school that he decided to find a new sport to consider for high school. He gave tennis a shot, discovering it wasn’t for him before eventually trying and falling in love with golf. Bradham credits golf for making him the man he is today through the various lessons learned on and off the course and the ups and downs he navigated through as he pursued the sport professionally. “The Adrian Stills Award recognizes strength of character, sportsmanship, perseverance and giving back to the game and community, all things that Michael Bradham embodies,” said Rob McQueen, Vice President of Global Sponsorships at Cisco. “Michael’s unwavering commitment to the game, as well as his dedication to inspiring the next generation of golfers is why we are proud to recognize him as the third annual recipient of this prestigious award. We look forward to continuing to partner with the APGA to support Michael and the other Tour golfers as we work together to make golf a more inclusive, accessible sport for all.” Cisco’s support of the APGA Tour reflects the brand’s purpose to power an inclusive future for all. Through the partnership, Cisco sponsors three of the APGA’s most significant events – the Cisco APGA Black History Month Classic, the APGA Cisco Invitational and the APGA Billy Horschel Invitational presented by Cisco – offering highly competitive prize money as well as enrichment and development opportunities off the course, mentoring opportunities and networking events with business and golf industry leaders. Cisco’s relationship with the APGA Tour builds on the brand’s ongoing investment in the game of golf, as seen through partnerships with leading organizations, such as the United States Golf Association; events; and the individuals on Team Cisco across the PGA, LPGA and APGA Tours. ### About Cisco Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) is the worldwide technology leader that securely connects everything to make anything possible.
