Rally Cry Championship Tour takes playoffs and finals features HBCU students

Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on December 13, 2024 Rally Cry, a gaming technology company that builds inclusive gaming experiences for players of all ages and skill levels, today announced its heading to the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl, Vrbo Fiesta Bowl and Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic for its championship rounds of the Rally Cry Championship Tour presented by Tyson® brand. Its 90’ x 60’ mobile gaming stage welcomes fans of all ages to play College Football 25 in-person in conjunction with its season-long online tournament. The Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl will host the #1 seed Bowie State University graduate student Jaquai “JustMontana” Bell versus #4 seed Bethune Cookman University graduate student Dametri “N8ighbor” Hill of the overall season long tournament, while the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl will host the #2 seed Alabama A&M University senior Jaeveon “Jordooo2x” Jordan versus #3 seed Norfolk State University graduate student Eric “ThatGuyDJ_” Minor, with the winners advancing to the championship final at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. The finalists will be competing for a part of the $5,000 prize pool and a custom trophy to hoist. The regular season of the Rally Championship Tour presented by Tyson® brand kicked off in September at the Duke’s Mayo Classic and concluded at the 51st Annual Bayou Classic, Presented by Procter & Gamble, traveling to 10 college campuses across the country. Each tour stop welcomed fans of all ages to enjoy free play on the mobile gaming stage within the FanFest areas prior to kickoff of the real football game as well as featuring a match between two students from the schools competing followed by a Celebrity Showmatch and giveaways. The tour attracted more than 55+ million online viewers throughout the season along with more than 600,000+ fans who engaged with the mobile gaming experience on site prior to the major ACC, Big 12, SEC, Big Ten and HBCU college football games.
