President Scott: Reflections and the Road Ahead

Just over 30 days ago, I had the honor of stepping into the role of President of Albany State University. In that time, I have embarked on a 100-day journey to Listen, Learn, and Lead—not alone, but with each of you. Today, I’m sharing a short video message reflecting on what I’ve heard during these first 30 days and what we can accomplish together as we move forward. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch and reflect with me. In the video, I discuss the hopes, concerns, and aspirations I’ve heard from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and stakeholders—and how those conversations are shaping the direction of our university. I also introduce six Presidential Learning Task Forces that will be instrumental in identifying challenges and building bold, collaborative solutions for ASU’s future. Our journey to be More, do Better, and Lead begins now. The future of Albany State is bright—and it will be defined by the work we commit to together, starting today.
