Confused

Posted By: ROBYN Jubilee on June 23, 2006 I don't know what to do about this male friend i have. I knew him since i was 9, and we were always close friends from the gate. About the last 2 years of our friendship he started coming at me, on some "wanting to be more than friends" type of stuff. I told him that i only see him as a brother and I never want to deal with him on that note. He said he understood and left it alone. Well, a couple months later, he's calling and trying to come through. Now what would normally be no big deal, i'm finding myself avoiding him. What should i do? Reminder: for one; I do love him as a friend and as a brother, so it wouldn't be easy to cut him out my life. For 2; I've came at him on a straight up approach, so it's not like i'm being unclear, that's why i'm confused. Be you and who you are and realize roles in life change as time passes on. You were a girl at 9, he was a boy, fill in the rest of the blanks from here, a lot of things have changed since then and maybe who knows... Friendship is key but that does not mean the key in soulmates. Try Jer 33:3,6, one thing you are doing already is seeking and asking becuase you do care. You could have blown all off.
