On May 10, 2025, Dillard University held its Commencement Ceremony to celebrate the Class of 2025! Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, we were unable to hold the ceremony on our beloved Avenue of the Oaks. This required the DU faculty & staff to pivot in order to still have a ceremony. Fortunately, we were able to still hold a wonderful celebration of achievement, thanks to the hospitality of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church. From the speech of our Commencement Speaker, Jericho Brown, Ph.D., to the embracement of family and friends, this Commencement Ceremony will be a moment our graduates will remember for many years to come!
