The NCCU men's basketball team, led by Head Coach LeVelle Moton, is coming off an impressive 2021-22 season that saw them claim the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) regular-season title. With a talented roster and a proven track record of success, the Eagles are poised to make a strong push for the MEAC tournament championship and a coveted spot in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. "Our teams are ready to take the court and represent the HBCU community with pride and determination," said NCCU Athletics Director Dr. Ingrid Wicker McCree. "We are excited for our fans to witness the passion and skill of our student-athletes as they strive for excellence on the hardwood." The schedule adjustments announced by NCCU include changes to the non-conference slate, allowing the teams to face a diverse range of opponents and showcase their talents on a national stage. This move not only provides the Eagles with valuable experience but also gives the HBCU community an opportunity to celebrate the success of their beloved teams. As the NCCU Eagles prepare for the upcoming season, the HBCU community rallies behind them, eager to witness the next chapter of their inspiring journey.
