NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 3, 2026 -- The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has announced its weekly men's tennis honors, and Howard University junior Michael Major Jr. has been named the MEAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Meanwhile, Norfolk State freshman Patryk Kowal earned MEAC Rookie of the Week recognition.

Major, a key player for the Howard Bison men's tennis team, has been a dominant force on the court this season. The junior from Washington, D.C. has led his squad to impressive victories, showcasing his exceptional skills and talent.
