Actually, what a woman wants is all up for debate. Women differ and are as unique as fingerprints. What is good to one woman, may not necessarily float the other's boat. Some women don't like their man all up under them. Some women aren't affecionate. Don't get me wrong, your list is admirable (kinda cute too--LOL ni66a said cute). What a woman wants IMO is for her man to be receptive to what she wants. However, those wants have to be communicated whether it is via body language or verbals. Take your list for example: you have demonstrated your wants, desires and your hierarchy of needs--a perfect example of how you should express your standards.

I do have to disagree with #19 and 22.

#19 There are "times" when you need to let your woman know she is s*xy. I'm not saying that you should say it all the time. "Dayum, You s*xy gurl!" LOL You just have to have a little excitement. Let her know that she IS the s*xiest woman in the world.

#22 Chivalry isn't dead; but, we are in 2006 and men and women can treat one another. I have lady friends who switch back and forth with me on the bill when we go out. I think that --ish is tight. It makes me feel like I am not the only one interested and that she is not a gold digger. I'm not saying it's okay for a man to ask a woman to buy him something. This holds the same as women shouldn't ask men to buy them anything. Gifts should come freely from a partner's heart, not from the fact that the other partner asked. I think that is the direction you were headed. "Send her roses just because." Well, send him a card or a rose just because.

Good Blog

Take care,
Damon

i love this list i think it is so right. It's perfect! Everything I can think of is on it. I would love if my boyfriend did everyone of these things. I think I am going to print it out and put it in his house but make it look like its his sister's, just so he can read it.

I am lost. What’s the attitude for? I did not criticize your blog. Not only did I exalt you for your forward nature, I praised you for “listing” your wants and desires and noted that your list is a PRIME example of what to do: Communicate your desires, wants and needs. Here’s the excerpt:

“Take your list for example: you have demonstrated your wants, desires and your hierarchy of needs--a perfect example of how you should express your standards.”

However, I did disagree with two points on your list (2 outta 30!?!? OMFG). Disagreement is not criticism, ma’am. I put my “spin” on those two. RHETORICAL QUESTION: “Are blogs meant to provide discussion and different points of views?” I guess not on your page. When I said you had a good blog, I meant it. You are being argumentative for no reason at all. You spoke your peace—now I spoke mine.

Very Respectfully,
Damon

Oh, and by the way, That’s spelled La”U”rence but my friends call me Damon.

S'all good, mami. Honestly, I can apologize to you too (I'm sorry) because there were items that could have been misinterpreted. I read what I said the other day and some of my verbiage could be taken one way or the other. I know you didn't ask for me to do this, but I will give you a breakdown on what I meant.

"Don't get me wrong, your list is admirable (kinda cute too--LOL ni66a said cute)." Here I was making fun of myself b/c men don't say cute. I like the cutesie (****, said cute again--I am gonna lose my playa card LOL) stuff that you talked about. Heck, and add wrestling (that's kool), tickle tourture, washing the car (then water fight) add all that. (My card has been revoked)

We are saying the same thing. (incomming flirt--gotta redeem myself LOL) I wish I could have seen you when you typed that 1st rebuttal tho. I bet you looked "s*xy" when you were mad. *joke*

Later, Drea
