FRANKFORT, Ky. β€” In a hard-fought battle between two of the top Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), the Albany State Lady Golden Rams emerged victorious, edging the Kentucky State Lady Thorobreds by a score of 58-56 in the opening round of the SIAC Championship Tournament.

The game was a true nail-biter, featuring 15 lead changes and 9 ties as both teams battled relentlessly on the court. It was a testament to the highly competitive nature of SIAC basketball and the unwavering determination of these talented student-athletes.
