COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College women's basketball team put on a thrilling performance in the 2026 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Men's and Women's Basketball Championship presented by Toyota, defeating Central State University by a score of 63-58 on Saturday at C.A. Johnson High School.

The victory was a testament to the resilience and skill of the Benedict College Tigers, as they overcame a hard-fought challenge from the Central State Marauders to secure their place in the next round of the prestigious tournament.
