Savannah State Defies the Odds, Earns Split at SIAC Crossover Tournament

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Savannah State Tigers of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) put on an impressive display of grit and determination at the second day of the annual SIAC Crossover Tournament. Despite facing stiff competition, the Tigers managed to earn a split, losing to the formidable Tuskegee Golden Tigers but bouncing back to defeat their in-state rival, the Albany State Rams.

In the opening game, Savannah State faced off against Tuskegee, a perennial powerhouse in the SIAC. The Golden Tigers, led by their standout players, proved to be a tough opponent.
